Noted Legal Practitioner Anthony Astaphan QC says that a letter from Dominica’s Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit may have led to the resignation of the former CEO of LIAT David Evans.
Astaphan while speaking on ZDK Open Forum on Sunday read the content of the letter.
The letter from PM Skerrit came after the cancellation of one of two flights into Dominica of April 8th. Astaphan said that the major issue affecting Dominica as according to Skerrit is the mismanagement of LIAT’s schedule.
Additionally Former head of the Leeward Island Airline Pilots Association Michael Blackborne called into question the competency of LIAT’s executives.
Blanckborne said that despite the level of qualification that a CEO possesses without a competent team the Airline is destined to fail.
