Attorney General to address robberies on Hispanic Businesses

Business owners of the Hispanic communities are calling on the government to put measures in place to address the frequent robberies that have been occurring.

That is the word from President of the Hispanic Association Adolfo Penia who told ZDK news that a petition has been launch making two requests of the Attorney General and the Commissioner of Police.

ZDK news contacted the Attorney General Steadroy Benjamin who said that this matter is a cause for concern and measures will be put in place to combat these robberies.

Benjamin said that with regards to firearm licenses, once the necessary requirements are met then the license should be granted, however the request for the installation of CCTV cameras would have to be placed into consideration.
