UPP says no grudge against CIP

The United progressive Party says their decision to withdraw their support from the CIP is not a means of sabotaging the Programme.

That is according to the Public Relations Officer for the United Progressive Party Senator Demarny Tabor who said that if the programme was operating under the appropriate standards the UPP would not have had to take this position.

Tabor said that with the different approaches taken by the Gaston Browne administration, the United Progressive Party felt that it could no longer remain in support of the programme.

“But based on how this have been altered we decided that we can no longer support it, so its not having it both ways, things change and so do men, the programme has been altered so we have to take a different position.”
