UPP says no provisions breached to dismiss Massiah

Despite MP Joanne Massiah referring to the action taken by the UPP as unconstitutional, the United Progressive Party says that no provisions were breached in the MP’s dismissal.

That is according to the Public Relations Officer Senator Demarni Tabor who said that the veto made by the Political leader Harold Lovell is sanctioned by the party’s constitution despite claims by the embattled MP.

Senator Tabor said that although there is no replacement at present for MP Massiah’s constituency, many persons have shown interest in the position.
