The teen who was on the run after stabbing his adopted mother several times is now in Police custody.
On Monday, ZDK news received information of a stabbing attack including 61 year old Ruthlyn Davis, who was stabbed several times about her body by her adopted teenage son.
Acting Commissioner of Police Wendel Robinson confirmed the news, adding that the teen, 17 year old Nadique Richards fled the scene after the attack which took place just before 11 am Monday.
Reports are that the two were involved in an argument which began late Sunday. Neighbors reported hearing the two arguing which was followed by screams and cries of help.
The teen’s older sibling reportedly rushed to his mother’s aid but fled after being threatened with the knife.
Police Senior Sergeant told ZDK news that the 17 year old was picked up Monday evening in the Golden Grove area and is now assisting lawmen with their investigations.
