Trio To Face The Courts For Credit Card Fraud

A Trio is set to face the courts today after they committed credit card fraud, stealing thousands of dollars in merchandise from local businesses.

According to Police reports, 2 of the three men, D. Tomlinson, 33 and Nicholas Grant, 57 previously faced charges relating to credit card fraud and were on bail for using illegal cards to obtain money from First Caribbean Bank.

The third man to face the courts was identified by lawmen as Carlton Adelberto, 34 of Gray’s farm

It was disclosed that the men illegally produced credit cards and used them to purchase items at several business including a superette in Bolans and a business on Old Parham road.

Police sources disclosed that the crime spree began around May 9th.

It has also been disclosed that additional individuals are likely to be charged as the investigation progresses.

The trio will face charges of larceny and receiving, obtaining goods through fraudulent means, and possession of an illegal fraud making device.
