No Foul Play Suspected in Old Road Hanging

The Police have not suspected foul play in the recent death of Charlesworth Albert Roberts, who reportedly hung himself last Saturday.

According to reports reaching ZDK News, 56 years old Roberts was found by villagers shortly after 9 am on Saturday hanging from a dumbz tree in the Old Road area.

An eyewitness said that he saw the man tie a rope to the tree and then tie the rope to his neck then jumped off. He said that efforts were made to stop deceased but however failed.

According to lawmen, Roberts who is an Antiguan by birth, suffered from Alzheimer’s disease, which helps to eliminate the question of foul play being evident in the case.

They will however have to await an autopsy report on the deceased to determine the way forward.
