Two Vincentian Arrested for Hashish Oil; Another on the Run

The Office of National Drug and Money Laundering Control policy (ONDCP) has called for assistance from the general public in locating a man believed to be involved in a drug operation.

Wanted is Mandella Spencer also known as “Mel /Yankee” who eluded the custody of the ONDCP during a drug bust at an apartment complex in the Creekside area on Sunday.

Reports from the ONDCP indicate that Spencer arrived at the complex during the operation where he was approached by officers who identified themselves and ordered him to stop. Spencer reportedly refused to comply and began maneuvering recklessly, while he made good his escape.

Anyone having information on the whereabouts of Mandella Spencer alias “Mel/Yankee” is asked to contact (268) 464-0345; (268) 764-4924 or contact the nearest Police station.

Meantime, two Vincentian national were arrested and charged as a result of the drug operation.

27-year-old Junior Forde of Hodges Bay and 33-year-old Curtis Williams, both Vincentian, were arrested after three packages of hashish oil with a combined weight of 8lbs 6ozs. A quantity of cannabis was also seized in another apartment within the complex.

The men have been charged with Possession of Hashish Oil, Possession with Intent to Supply Hashish Oil and Being Concerned in the Supply of Hashish Oil. They are expected to make a court appearance in the St. John’s Magistrate Court on Wednesday to answer to these charges.

The Hashish Oil is estimated to have a wholesale value of Thirty-three Thousand, Five Hundred Dollars (ECD$33,500.00).
