Body of second burn victim arrives today

The body of Jayden Prince, a 3 year old victim of a House fire is schedule to arrive at the V.C Bird International Airport at 1pm this afternoon.

The toddler was airlifted to a burn center in Martinique and his mother Gayon Williams to Guadeloupe last month after receiving severe burns to the upper portion of their bodies.

However Both Jayden and his 41 year old mother later succumbed to their injuries while undergoing treatment.

His remains will depart Martinique at 12:30 via a Regional Security Service Jet and upon arrival; his body will be taken to the Barnes Funeral Home where his mother’s body, which returned from Guadeloupe on Tuesday is being kept.

The incident which occurred last month saw Williams and three young children — her seven-year-old step-daughter, her three-year-old and eight-month-old sons-along with boyfriend Eddie Prince rushed to hospital by ambulance after a fire, believed to have been electrical burnt their Jennings residence.
