Charges have been dropped against popular DJ

Charges against popular DJ and talk show host Algernon ‘Serpent’ Watts have been dropped.

Watts, one of the two affiliates of the United Progressive Party who was charged a year ago in the Board of Education Fraud Case received news on Wednesday from Magistrate Conliffe Clark which indicated that there was insufficient evidence against him to pursue the matter.

Meantime Former Executive Secretary of the Board of Education, D. Gisele Isaac who was also charged in connection to the case, will have to answer to charges in the High Court regarding her role in the alleged fraud.

In June 2015, Gisele Isaac and Algernon ‘Serpent’ Watts were arrested and charged with Fraud, Conspiracy and additional charges, for allegations of corruption while they served at the Board of Education.
