Antigua and Barbuda’s leading properties have been recognized by a leading and prestigious reader’ nomination awards as the top rated resorts in the Caribbean.
The Condé Nast Traveler Annual Readers’ Choice Awards during its 29th ceremony, the longest-running and most prestigious reader’s nominated awards in the industry awarded Jumby Bay (Rosewood)Resort , Blue Waters, Carlisle Bay, Sandals Grande Antigua, and Curtain Bluff as the ‘Top Resorts in the Caribbean’.
For the 29th Annual Awards more than 300,000 world travelers took part – the most ever to date – leaving over 75,000 comments on more than 20,000 listings, including 7,394 hotels and resorts, 236 islands, and an average survey time of 8.4 minutes to create the list of winning favorites.
Colin James, CEO, Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority in a press release said that they are very proud of these five awards for our resorts as it truly signifies that Antigua and Barbuda are providing visitors with the top travel and hospitality experience possible in the Caribbean.
He said that it is important to note that these awards are voted on by the people who are visiting, signifying that we are doing something right.
The voters declared a passion for the authentic, the personal, the unexpected – all three of which are intrinsic to our twin island nation.
Recently voted the Caribbean’s “Most Romantic Destination” by the World Travel Awards, for the second consecutive year, the twin-island destination of Antigua and Barbuda has been having a record-breaking year in visitors.
