Antigua and Barbuda will be receiving another major investment as a US $25 million dollar project is schedule to break ground today Thursday.
The project, being led by online betting mogul Calvin Ayre will see the construction of a 4 story building which will house the entire operations of his Call Centre Services (CCS).
That is according to the Government’s Chief of Staff Lionel Hurst who told ZDK news that the project will employ over 100 individuals.
He said that the Project is an expansion of the already established call centre services provided within the country.
Ayre is no stranger to Antigua and Barbuda as according to Hurst he has played a role in similar projects in the past.
The site, located at Lauchland Benjamin Drive, Upper Gambles which is expected to house the million dollar project has already been cleared in preparation for construction. The Ground breaking ceremony will take place at the site this afternoon at 4:30pm.
