Lovell blamed for saga between Joanne Massiah and UPP

Political Leader of the United Progressive Party (UPP) Harold Lovell is to blame for the political saga between Joanne Massiah and the leadership of United Progressive Party (UPP).

That is according to the Government’s Chief of Staff Lionel Hurst who indicated that the dispute proves that leadership within the UPP is clearly lacking.

Hurst who was speaking on ZDK’s our Views this morning further advised Massiah to ride out the storm and contest in the next General Elections.

Meantime the current dispute between MP Joanne Massiah and the Opposition United Progressive Party may act as a clear advantage for the Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party in the upcoming Elections.

That is according to Political Analyst Arvil Grant who said that regardless of Massiah taking the initiative to join the ABLP, the Labour Party clearly has an advantage.

However in a recent interview on ZDK’s Your Views MP Joanne Massiah ruled out the possibility of running on a Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party ticket as her loyalty lies with the UPP.
