Police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding a shooting incident at Cedar Grove, which left two men nursing gunshot wounds.
It is alleged that three men, armed with firearms, wearing dark clothing with their faces concealed, entered a Cedar Grove home and opened fire on the occupants inside.
Lorne Nicholas, 40 received gunshot wounds to his leg, and upper body, while Zimbab Howe, 35 was shot in his right hand. Both men were treated at the Mount St. Johns Medical Centre for their injuries.
However, Nicholas the more serious of the two was kept for observation. His condition was listed as stable and he was later discharged. An undisclosed sum of money was also reportedly stolen from the property.
The alleged incident occurred around 2:30 am on Wednesday 2nd November.
