The police have issued a stern warning to residents against aiding or facilitating criminals.
In a press release on Monday, the Police Administration issued a stern warning to those who are involved in criminal activities to desist immediately and further warned members of the public against facilitating persons known to be involved in criminal activities.
This comes on the heels of an investigation of a robbery which took place at Windows and Doors located at Paynters on Monday morning.
It is alleged that three men, one wearing a blue coverall and the others dressed in dark clothing with their faces concealed, entered the business place and robbed the owners of an undisclosed sum of money.
The perpetrators also made off with the CCTV Security monitor in a white Toyota motor car, driven by a fourth person. The alleged incident occurred around 11:15 am.
The Police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed, or have information about this incident to call the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913\14.
Meanwhile, the Police are also appealing to the owners and operators of businesses to become more vigilant, and to put tighter security measures in place; especially as Christmas Season approaches.
