In an effort to further cement its commitment to the Old Road community, Al Caribe Antigua Development Limited will be holding a community consultation this evening to discuss matters related to the US $150 million US dollar Callaloo Cay resort.
In July 2014 Prime Minister Gaston Browne and Sheikh Tariq Al Qassimi signed a Memorandum of Agreement for the development of the five star resorts, Callaloo Cay, at the site of the derelict Morris Bay Hotel.
Principal Development Advisor Al Caribe Antigua Development Limit Colin Sear said the consultation will address many of the concerns among the community and inform them of the plan going forward.
He said that the community can look forward to a number of benefits including job creation and quality of life with the construction of the Callaloo Cay Resort.
In attendance at this evening’s consultation will be a number of individuals involved in the project including the Architect and the Environmentalist Ivor Jackson.
Callaloo Cay will comprise of a branded five star hotel, private villas, a world-class spa, a trend-setting beach club and several waterside-dining concepts.
