The Police, along with the family of 17yrs-old Shaade’ Cannonier of Bendals are seeking the public’s assistance in knowing her whereabouts.
The 4th Form Student of the Ottos Comprehensive School was last seen at the Bendals Basketball Court around 10:30 pm on Saturday. Anyone with information as to her whereabouts is asked to contact the Youth Intervention Unit at 562-8417, or any police station.
Members of the public are also warned not to harbour any child under the age of 18yrs without the consent of their parents. Anyone found committing such an offence will be taken before the Court and can face up to three years in prison.
Meantime 33yrs-old Nicola Sampson who was missing for over five days has turned herself in.
That is according to Senior Sergeant Frankie Thomas who told ZDK news this morning that the mother of two showed up at the Liberta Police Station last Thursday.
Sampson is a Caucasian British National, who has been residing in Liberta for a number of years. She is the mother of two boys, a 2yr-old and a 3 month old infant.
She reportedly left home for St. Johns around 8:30 pm on December 2nd, and did not return home.
Senior Sergeant Thomas told ZDK news that Sampson is now safety back home.
