Antigua and Barbuda will become the center of attention beginning tomorrow as the island gets ready to host the Regional Super50 Cricket tournament.
The final of the Super50 will be hosted at the refurbished Sticky Wicket Cricket Ground along with the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium.
Live and delayed television coverage will be on ESPN for the day/night matches at Sticky Wicket, and ZDK Sports will be broadcasting live coverage from the event.
Meantime, the three One-Day-Internationals (ODI) – West Indies vs England will be held at the Barbados Windward Cricket Club, 3Ws Oval and Kensington Oval.
Outgoing WICB CEO, Michael Muirhead, said, “The deal for the acquisition of the facility at Coolidge, between the government of Antigua and Barbuda and the WICB, will, over a phased period see improvements and add-ons to accommodate the full-service headquarters of West Indies cricket.”
The Super50 preliminary day/night matches begins tomorrow with the
Super50 semi-finals slated for February 15 & 16 and the Super50 final for February 18th.
