55yrs-old Kensworth Browne has been remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison after being denied bail for the murder of his wife, Judith Browne.
The building contractor appeared before Magistrate Ngaio Emanuel in the All Saints Magistrate Court on Tuesday where he was denied bail due to the type of crime allegedly committed.
His committal proceedings was set for March 8th where the magistrate will make a determination as to whether or not there is sufficient evidence for the matter to be tried in the High Court before judge and jury.
Browne was arrested and taken into custody on Thursday December 29th, after he allegedly battered and killed his wife at their Tyrell’s home, using a blunt object.
Police reports indicate that the alleged incident occurred around that morning.
