It has been almost a month since 37 year old Christopher Tester was shot during a robbery on Christmas day and now the family of the shooting victim hopes that the promise of reward money will help lead to the shooter’s arrest.
The family of the UK visitor is offering a $20, 000 reward to anyone with information that could lead to the arrest of whoever is responsible for the act.
Tester received a gunshot wound to his head during an attempted robbery at Old Road and according to family members he is now in a rehabilitation hospital for the blind and brain-damaged where he is leaning how to cope with his disability.
Father of the victim Anthony John Tester in an interview said “I believe that people know, even now, as we speak, who that person is, and I believe that eventually somebody will say something, and to try and help that along a gentleman has offered a US $10,000 reward if it leads to the conviction. I have decided to double that.”
The UK visitor was airlifted to Guadeloupe for specialized treatment following the incident. Meantime Senior Sergeant Frankie Thomas, Police Public Relations Officer said that several persons have been question in relation to the incident however no arrest has been made.
