Work is progressing smoothly on the new Tomlinson’s Secondary School.
This is according to Contractor Collin Harrison, who is overseeing the construction of the school’s administration building.
He said after two weeks since work on the first phase of the country’s newest secondary school began two weeks ago, about 18% of the work is complete.
On Sunday workmen began pouring concrete to begin the construction of that building while work continued at other sections of the school.
According to Harrison, the first phase of the construction plans is on track in order to meet the Government’s goal of having the school ready for the new school year in September.
The first phase of the project will see the construction of an Administrative building, fifteen classrooms, a counselling centre and laboratories.
It is expected to be completed by August 25th to make way for some of the nation’s students.
