Prime Minister Gaston Browne has described a ‘meet and greet’ including government officials as a success.
On Wednesday, the Gaston Browne led administration took to the streets of St. John’s to meet upfront and discuss the pressing concerns of members of the public.
The tour began at the public market where the government officials gained a first experience of the challenges being faced by some of the vendors in our community.
Members of the business community also had an opportunity to meet with the officials to express some of their concerns and were given the assurance that their issues will be addressed in time.
The high ranking officials visited several busy spots in the nation’s capital where onlookers gathered to take pictures with their constituency representatives.
The meeting concluded at the heritage quay complex where PM Browne spoke of seeking to increase accessibility to the public so as to give government officials first-hand experience of the issues affecting the nation.
He said the government is committed to understand the issues and furthermore to address them.
